Most of the time now days people are afraid of helping someone because there is a chance that the person you're trying to help could be a creep and want to hurt you in some way for some reason.
Tonight I was on my way to get gas and I saw a car stuck in the ditch. They couldn't have been there for more than a minute or two when I got there.
I had a moment of hesitation and then the thought ran through my head "What if that was you over there and no-one offered to help you. How would you feel about that?"... So I went over to the car that was buried in snow about two and a half feet deep and tried to push it out of the ditch. Well, we weren't able to get it out ourselves so we were going to look for some help maybe in the station or whatnot and there was a man and his wife in a rather large diesel truck leaving when they saw us walking together to get help and they backed up and talked to us for a minute. They were able to pull him out and everything turned out well for everyone and even though I wasn't able to get that car out myself, it at least gave me the opportunity to do something God told me to do in my heart.
It's not always about succeeding in what you do but rather doing what God tells you to do whole heartedly no matter what the results may be.

The Lord works in mysterious ways
Where I work we're paid every week. Last week I was called into work more than usual. At the time I wasn't to happy about it. I also have been needing to get my oil changed but haven't had the time nor the money to do so. After receiving my check today with a little more than 8 hours of over time I have the money I need to get my oil changed without having to worry about whether or not I can afford it.
I just want to take this opportunity to point out, though we don't always understand why we are going through something or why something is happening to us, God is always looking out for the best interests of His children and always has the big picture in mind. it is vitally important to completely trust God with whatever is going on in our lives.
Just remember. He knows everything... not you.
So I give thanks to God for looking out for me even when I don't know I should be looking out for myself.
In His service.

My Introduction...
Hello,
I've been a member on here for some time now but I have never taken the time to do anything with this website. I have an uncle that has some VERY interesting conversations on his blog over a numerous amount of subjects.
I hope that with this Blog there will be many good discussions to be had here. I'm not afraid of standing up for what i believe in or arguing the point down. I'm hard to offend as far as hurting my feelings goes so please, be as blunt and straight forward as you possibly can be. I prefer it that way.
Well, I look forward to blogging and getting going on this site.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
